Adam Marr is an Accountant with Dixon Projects. In this role, Adam prepares internal and external reporting documents; liaises with project managers, vendors, and trade contractors regarding payments; assists in developing financial controls and procedures; and contributes to Dixon Projects’ annual external audit and general insurance audit preparation.
Previously, Adam worked in construction as a Plumber in Melbourne, Australia, before interning at a tech start-up in New York. During his previous roles, Adam has developed a comprehensive understanding of both the internal and external workings of a successful construction company, as well as honing his need for providing first class results.
“While my only tool these days is a keyboard, I love that Dixon allows me to still be in the construction industry. From start to finish, everyone here is part of a cohesive unit that I am proud to be a part of.”
Adam received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baruch College and his Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). During his time at BMCC Adam was awarded the Dean’s Award for Academic Achievement. Outside of work, Adam is an avid runner and enjoys exploring various parts of the United States.
