Alison Thaler is an Assistant Project Manager with Dixon Projects. In this role, Ali works alongside Project Managers on residential construction projects of various sizes. Her goal is to ensure that all parties involved in the construction lifecycle work together seamlessly to deliver the highest quality projects for Dixon’s clients on time and on budget.
Prior to working at Dixon, Ali developed her construction experience while working at Acoustic Distinctions, where she was part of a team that oversaw renovations that improved the sound quality in concert halls, auditoriums, and office meeting rooms.
Ali received her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Rochester. Ali’s senior project team built a prototype of an electric omnidirectional wheelchair that would allow the user to maneuver in tight spaces by making lateral or angular movements as well as the standard forward and backward movements. This project helped Ali hone the communication, critical thinking, organizational and cost management skills that she now uses daily at Dixon Projects.
During her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing soccer, rock climbing, and spending quality time with friends and family.
My favorite part of working at Dixon, is walking sites before, during, and after renovation. There is nothing quite like seeing a property transform from pure potential to the perfect dream home.
