As an Associate Director of Project Management, Isaac facilitates all aspects of the project lifecycle, from preconstruction approvals to handing over beautifully renovated properties. This helps Dixon Projects deliver a high number of quality projects to their client on time and within budget.
Isaac developed his expertise over the past six years working as a Project Manager and Project Engineer in a number of different roles back home in Australia. Most recently before joining the Dixon team, Isaac worked as a Project Engineer for the Water Corporation and TASK JV in Western Australia, where he was part of the team that astonishingly constructed the $95 million East Rockingham Wastewater Treatment Plant $13 million under budget. Additionally, Isaac worked as a Project Manager for a hydrogeology company, Pennington Scott, where he managed numerous groundwater projects in the West Australian Outback.
“People skills are crucial for Project Managers. In this role, you deal with all sorts of personalities, so you need to know the many approaches of getting all these types onboard to work with you, not against you.”
Apart from every project he has worked on as an APM, Isaac’s favorite project thus far is Macon Street. Apart from being his first project as a Project Manager, Macon Street has presented Isaac with many challenges working alongside the contractor, all of which have taught him new skills.
Isaac received his Environmental Engineering Degree with first class honors from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Melbourne, Australia. In his spare time, Isaac enjoys exploring the outdoors, fishing, playing Australian Rules Football (AFL) for the NYC Magpies, cooking and socializing with friends over a few quiet drinks.
