Katrina Cavanough


As In-House Counsel on Dixon’s in-house legal team, Katrina’s role is to implement legal compliance procedures and manage litigation risks across company-wide operations ranging from acquisition, construction, leasing and property management. Katrina joined Dixon Advisory USA after making the move to New York City from Melbourne, Australia.

Prior to joining Dixon, Katrina worked as an attorney in the Melbourne office of commercial law firm, Maddocks. Here, Katrina focused on transactional and litigious matters for both commercial and governmental clients, including cases in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Federal Court and High Court of Australia.

Katrina graduated with a double major in Law & Media and Communications from the University of Melbourne, where she also obtained her Diploma of Modern Languages in French. Katrina went on to earn her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice before being admitted to practice law.

While at University, Katrina gained invaluable experience at the US-based, international hospitality group, Delaware North Companies Inc. Here, she worked at various sporting and entertainment events, as well as with the Australian corporate headquarters’ in-house legal team.
