Megan Traub is a Director with Dixon Projects. In this role, Megan manages a team of project managers and assistant project managers focused on minor renovations throughout Hudson County in upcoming neighborhoods. Megan oversees the team’s progress and development, ensuring the team is meeting deadlines and client expectations. Megan also promotes company growth and success by coordinating training sessions with recent graduate employees. “In order to be a successful manager, one needs to be willing to listen and have open dialogue whether delivering good or bad news. Communication is the key to a successful team, business and relationship so it’s one thing I focus on in order to be successful in my role.”
During Megan’s tenure, she has successfully completed several premium construction projects with strict deadlines. Megan developed her construction knowledge in her role as Project Manager and gained leadership experience as the captain of her field hockey team throughout her Junior and Senior years at Stevens Institute of Technology. Megan has continued to stay involved with Stevens’ athletic department, and volunteer coached for the fall season following her graduation in 2014. Megan’s previous work experience and campus involvement has helped her develop a passion for leading teams to successful victories.
Megan received her Bachelors of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2014. She received several awards as a member of the field hockey team which include (but are not limited to) NFHCA All Academic (2010 – 2013), All Empire 8 Conference First Team (2012 – 2013) and NFHCA Academic All Region First Team (2013). In her spare time, Megan enjoys hanging out with friends and family, playing field hockey, traveling, snowboarding, cooking, and being creative.
