Rachel Wolff serves as the Director of Interior Design on the Architecture & Design Team at Dixon Projects. In this role, Rachel develops designs for a variety of homes, selecting interior finishes and fixtures tailored to suit the needs of the home based on location, budget, and unique history. In addition to design elements, Rachel visits sites with contractors and project managers on a weekly basis to smoothly translate architectural plans into the spectacular homes available in Dixon’s portfolio. Rachel recognizes that a home’s design sets stakeholders’ first impression of Dixon, and ensures that all elements are accurately and beautifully translated into the finished product.
“Working at Dixon provides a unique experience as a designer. Instead of being pigeon-holed into one specific style, we get the opportunity to work on a variety of design styles. Whether it’s restoring a traditional brownstone with all of its rich mahogany woodwork intact; or a house that is a full-gut down to the studs that will become a clean-lined modern interior.”
Prior to joining the Dixon team, Rachel gained design experience at both a residential architecture firm and an interior design firm. In these roles, Rachel managed the execution and design of high-end residential interiors throughout the New York metropolitan area. Rachel’s background in transitional interiors can be seen in many of her projects and continues to influence other property designs while she explores more modern & contemporary undertakings.
Rachel holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Interior Design from Miami University (Oxford, OH) and currently resides in Manhattan. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
