Shannon is an Assistant Project Manager with Dixon Projects, working as a member of the Private Client Team. In this role, Shannon maintains a close working relationship with internal teammates and external contractors to perform renovations, big or small, for private clients. Shannon is an integral member of several projects, from co-ops and residential properties, to retail spaces and commercial developments.

“I knew I wanted to work for a company that would challenge me. Dixon is the perfect place. The amount of experience I have obtained is unmeasurable, and the relationships I’ve built are irreplaceable.”

Prior to joining the Dixon Projects team, Shannon earned her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Through their Cooperative Education Program, she worked as a Project Analyst at Movado Group, Inc., where she designed and implemented a now utilized computer program that evaluates inventory levels within company and retail locations. This information was used by executives to promote and execute processes that eliminated excess inventory. Shannon also had the opportunity to work as a Mechanical Engineer at Metem Corporation, where she created an improved design of the current ECM/STEM drilling system and supervised operator efficiency for process improvement. Shannon spent her last year at college working as an Engineering Manager for her senior design team which invented a water purification system for developing countries that is now being implemented in South America and Africa.

During her time at Stevens, Shannon was an active member of Delta Phi Epsilon and the Student Government Association. In her free time, she enjoys singing, songwriting, and acting. Shannon even had the honor of performing for the New Jersey State Jazz Choir, multiple competitive show choirs, and Wall Street’s Christmas tree lighting two years in a row.
