As Associate Director of Acquisitions & Asset Management at Dixon Advisory, Thomas assists the US Masters Residential Property Fund in identifying opportunities to increase profitability and operational efficiency across the existing portfolio.
Previous to his role in asset management, Thomas was an Acquisitions Analyst for the Fund, where he successfully sourced, analyzed and made investment recommendations on hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate. Additionally, he has been extensively involved in the Fund’s property tax sensitivity analysis, as well as efforts to uncover and rectify underperforming assets in the Fund’s portfolio.
“I love what I do because I am able to have a direct impact on the bottom line performance of the Fund. As a larger portion of our portfolio becomes stabilized, future revenue growth will become increasingly dependent on our ability to operate each property in an optimal manner.”
Thomas developed his expertise working across a host of financial service positions on both the buy and sell side, most recently at Goldman Sachs. This, along with previous experiences at Belstone Capital, Tremblant Capital, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, exposed Thomas to a myriad of valuation techniques, products and markets. Thomas received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from New York University. In his spare time, Thomas enjoys snowboarding, surfing, coffee, traveling and investing in real estate.
