REBECCA SYMES

General Counsel

As General Counsel, Rebecca advises senior management on corporate governance, risk management, and transactional matters. Rebecca also supervises outside counsel and oversees the day-to-day legal affairs of the company.

In addition, Rebecca is responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s relationships with community stakeholders with the primary goal of identifying shared objectives and maximizing opportunities for collaboration.

Prior to joining Dixon Advisory USA, Rebecca was Counsel & Director of Constituent Affairs for U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. In that capacity, Rebecca managed a statewide constituent services department tasked with assisting more than 10,000 municipalities, businesses, nonprofits, and households annually with matters related to the federal government. Rebecca began her career as an attorney with Housing Conservation Coordinators, a nonprofit, providing free legal representation to low-income New Yorkers. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Ithaca College and her Juris Doctor from the Catholic University of America, where she was the Dulin Haynes Memorial Fellow.
