GARDEN STREET, HOBOKEN
Located on a beautiful tree-lined block in the heart of Hoboken, Garden Street presented the Dixon Projects team with a fantastic opportunity to create an upscale and unparalleled townhome in a highly desirable neighborhood.
When first acquired by the Fund in December 2012, the property featured an outdated interior, with low-end finishes and fixtures that deterred Hoboken home buyers looking for a high-end finished product.
To transform this home, the Dixon Projects team began by reconfiguring the layout from a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house to a three-bedroom, four-bathroom home that featured two master suites, complete with high-end fixtures and radiant heat flooring. The team also completely overhauled the wood flooring and lighting throughout the property, using a wide-plank Brazilian Cherry floor, as well as decorative and recessed lighting to give the interior a fresh and spacious feel.
The staircase was completely refinished and now features cherry treads to match the flooring. In addition, the kitchen and dining area were completely revamped with new cabinetry, backsplash, and appliances to create a deluxe, open-layout chef’s kitchen that leads directly out to the freshly manicured backyard entertaining area. Last but not least, the team replaced the home’s mechanicals, installing a three-zone central air and heat system to put the finishing touches on this townhome masterpiece.
